Justin Bieber Admitted What It Was Like Hosting Thanksgiving While Married To Hailey Baldwin, Saying “Love Isn’t Always Easy”

Thanksgiving is always a tricky holiday, but it gets even harder when you’re married. Now, all of a sudden, you have two family events to juggle. For newlywed Justin Bieber, he had a perfect plan in mind — why not unite both sides of the family?

In case you missed it, Bieber got married to Hailey Baldwin this past September, which puzzled many of his fans (long story short: he was recently seen with ex Selena Gomez, and he and Hailey always seemed to be on friend-turf — or maybe friends-with-benefits turf…hey, not our business, right?). Despite this complicated dating history, Bieber seems pretty serious about being a husband and figured he’d prove himself by hosting the big Thanksgiving feast this year.

Even though it should be a joyous occasion — it’s still Thanksgiving. Raise your hand if you’ve never been through a holiday without a little bit of stress and pressure. Seriously — everyone has a Thanksgiving family story by now. Bieber admitted on Instagram that his holiday wasn’t necessarily the easiest, but it was still a huge milestone for him and his new wife.

“First thanksgiving as a married man, first time hosting thanksgiving,” Bieber wrote. “First time both sides of the family has come together. Relationships are hard and love isn’t always easy but thank you Jesus for showing me how! Every day is a learning process, trying to be more like him, patient, kind, selfless, boy I got a long way!”

The picture itself wasn’t of the celebration — which would have been nice to see — but it’s truly a serene shot.

These days, Baldwin has made it Instagram official by changing her name on her Instagram account and bio. She’s officially Hailey Bieber now, and she’s eager to share cute photos with her husband. The Instagram below may be from the Thanksgiving event — is that pumpkin pie on Justin and Hailey’s faces?  So cute!

These two can look forward to plenty of Thanksgiving dinners ahead. Surely it was a wonderful feast that both sides of the family appreciated.
