Brioche Dough

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add the flour, yeast, salt and eggs. Start mixing and add water gradually until a ball forms. 
  3. Add sugar and butter gradually, about ¼ at a time. 
  4. Once the dough is soft and stretchy, after about 20 minutes of kneading, place in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and proof until it doubles in size, about 30 minutes. 
  5. Shape as desired and proof for another 30 minutes until the dough roughly doubles in size again.
  6. Brush with egg wash and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
