  1. In a double boiler or microwave safe bowls, melt candy melts. If using a microwave, remove to stir every ten seconds and make sure not to overheat. If candy melts begin to thicken from overheating, stir frequently as they cool and they will loosen back up. Transfer melted candy melts to piping bags.
  2. Pipe green candy melts into tree shaped molds. Pipe brown candy melts into gingerbread molds. Pipe white candy melts into snowflake, santa, and snowman shaped molds. Tap molds gently onto surface to smooth out chocolate and knock out any air bubbles. Place in freezer until solid, about 15 minutes.
  3. Gently unmold chocolates. If chilled solid, they should pop out easily. Paint the characters with edible paint and a small brush. Edible paints made for painting chocolate work best.
  4. Chocolates can be served as is or make great cake and cupcake toppers!

What Is pork broth?

Borsch—a sour and hearty soup that’s loved especially throughout Eastern Europe—is the national dish of Ukraine and a staple in nearly every household. There are four main categories of borsch in Ukraine: red, green, white, and cold (kholodnyk). Borsch is eaten at weddings and funerals, can be served hot or cold, and can be as thick as a stew or thin as a consommé. It can also be almost any color, and the correct hue of borsch is often a hotly contested topic.
