BRIGHT & CHEERY ABSOLUT® VODKA SODA 

So Yummy

Serves one person responsibly 

 

Ingredients: 

For the vodka soda…

  • 1 ⅓ ounce dragon fruit-infused Absolut® Vodka
  • 5 ounces soda water
  • 1 lime wedge
  • Edible flower ice cubes

For the dragon fruit infused vodka… 

  • 1 dragon fruit (with pink/red flesh)
  • 1 bottle Absolut® Vodka

For the edible flower ice cubes…

  • Edible flowers, a handful
  • Water, to fill tray

 

Directions: 

  1. Begin by infusing your vodka. Cube a pink dragon fruit into chunks that will fit through the opening of your vodka bottle. Into the bottle, drop 3 or more chunks, (the amount of chunks added will increase flavor & color intensity, as well as reduce the amount of time needed to infuse.) Infuse overnight or until you achieve desired color.
  2. Meanwhile, prep the edible flower ice cubes. Into an ice cube tray, drop a handful of edible flowers into each pocket. Fill with water and freeze overnight as vodka infuses.
  3. Once vodka is bright pink in color and ice cubes are frozen, build your vodka soda. Drop a few ice cubes into a tall glass, fill with pink vodka, soda water, and garnish with a lime wedge.

 

SPRING GARNISH HACKS

Yields three garnishes  

 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 mango
  • 1 Persian cucumber
  • 1 stalk of rhubarb

 

Directions:

  1. For the mango arch: Slice a small oval-shaped piece off the side of a mango. Carefully score and cube the flesh inside the peel (being careful not to cut through the skin), and push on the skin side to invert and “pop” the flesh out. Insert a small skewer into the center row of chunks, skewering only the first & last cubes. Slice the remaining mango rows off with a knife. Place garnish into your favorite Absolut® Vodka drink!
  2. For the cucumber wave: Using a vegetable peeler, remove the first couple layers of the cucumber — lengthwise, until you begin to get wider slices. Stack two wide slices of cucumber on top of each other, set upright, and begin to create a wave pattern with your fingers. Skewer with a decorative toothpick and add additional cucumber waves until your toothpick is filled. Garnish on a bubbly Absolut® cocktail.
  3. For the rhubarb ribbon: With a vegetable peeler, slice a long, thin strip of rhubarb off of the stalk. The slice will naturally curl and “ribbon.” Dangle it into a tall cocktail glass and hook the end on the rim of the glass. Pour in an Absolut® cocktail of your choice, and enjoy!

 

MELTING COSMO

Serves one person responsibly 

 

Ingredients:

  • Cranberry juice, a splash (to fill ⅓ of your ice pop mold)
  • Orange juice, a splash (to fill ⅓ of your ice pop mold)
  • Soda water, a splash (to fill ⅓ of your ice pop mold — plus more to top off cocktail)
  • 1 lime slice
  • 2 ounces Absolut® Vodka
  • 1 ½ ounces triple sec
  • 1 ounce lime juice

 

Directions:

  1. Into an ice pop mold, pour cranberry juice to fill ⅓ of the mold. Place into freezer for a few hours — or until juice has frozen. Once frozen, layer with orange juice and soda water to fill the rest of the mold, leaving a small amount of room to insert a thin lime slice. Add lime slice, insert a wooden ice pop stick, and freeze overnight.
  2. When ice pops are frozen solid, build your Cosmo base. Into a tall cocktail glass or wine glass, pour Absolut® Vodka, triple sec, lime juice, and top off with around 4 ounces of extra soda water, for some bubbles. Add an ice pop mold and stir until it melts into a Cosmo.
  3. Enjoy!

 

(BIG BATCH) BERRY KOMBUCHA MULE

Serves 16 people responsibly

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle Absolut® Vodka, (around 3 cups)
  • 5 cups berry kombucha
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • Mint leaves, a large handful
  • Lime slices, a large handful
  • Fresh berries, a large handful
  • Ice

 

Directions:

  1. Begin by macerating berries. Into a large pitcher, combine and muddle raspberries and blackberries with sugar. Let sit 5-10 minutes, as juices begin to release.
  2. Next, pour in an entire bottle of Absolut® Vodka (woo!) — and follow with lime juice, kombucha, and ice. If desired, top with fresh mint leaves, lime slices, and a handful of fresh berries for a pop of color. Stir to combine.
  3. Serve in mule mugs, and enjoy!

 

ABSOLUT-INFUSED WATERMELON COSMO 

So Yummy

Serves one person responsibly 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ ounces Absolut® Vodka
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • ½ lime, juiced
  • 2 ounces watermelon juice
  • 3-6 mint leaves
  • 2 small edible flowers, for garnish

For the Absolut-Infused Watermelon Garnish 

  • 1 thin slice of watermelon
  • Absolut® Vodka, to submerge

Directions: 

  1. In a deep pan, place the watermelon slice and vodka until the vodka covers the top of the slice (we suggest soaking multiple slices at a time, if you’re serving more than one person!) Let sit for 1-2 hours.
  2. In a cocktail mixing class, stir together ice, vodka, triple sec, lime juice, watermelon juice, and mint leaves.
    Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a spiked watermelon slice and edible flower.
