Starbucks’s Bubblegum And Cotton Candy Frappuccinos Were Made For Your Instagram — But They’re A Bit Much, No?

One of the reasons why Starbucks is so popular is because the coffee chain is not afraid to innovate. Another reason? The Frappuccinos. There’s nothing better than a cold Frappuccino to make up for an exhausting, humid summer day. Starbucks always tries to emphasize presentation, and that’s quite clear in the two new flavors they’re releasing in Mexico (yes, Mexico, sorry everyone who doesn’t live in Mexico!). But, those of us lucky enough to try them out might want to avoid them if they’re not into super sweet treats.

Delish reports that the two new flavors are Bubblegum and Cotton Candy, which seem more like Slurpee flavors than Frappuccino flavors. But still, Starbucks always seems to know what they’re doing. Have they ever released a product that’s been an absolute bomb? Sure, they’ve had a few questionable releases (like the sparkling coffee they tried releasing back in 1994) but seem to know their clientele at this point.

Even if sugar-y drinks aren’t your thing, there’s no denying the fact that these two new flavors are pretty adorable. Yes — it’s kind of strange to refer to a beverage as such, but once you see them, you’ll understand the hype.

Here’s how Starbucks Mexico introduced the two new Fraps on Instagram.

In their eyes, the new colorful Fraps are “literally a party of flavor.”

And they think that by sipping on one, you’ll quickly be transported to the best times of your life (aka, your youth) — or at least, that’s how the video could be interpreted.

Much like their other viral Frappuccinos, these two will only be available for a limited time. So, if you live in or are visiting Mexico, and you’ve wondered what it’d be like to drink bubblegum, this may be your only opportunity.

If you are feeling determined to try the Bubblegum and Cotton Candy Frappuccinos, you can always try ordering them from the Starbucks “Secret Menu.”

Here are the ingredients for the Bubblegum Frappuccino, according to starbuckssecretmenu.net:

-Strawberries and Creme Frappuccino

-No classic syrup

-Raspberry syrup (between 2-3 pumps, depending on the size of your drink)

For the Cotton Candy Frappuccino:

-Vanilla Bean Frappuccino

-Raspberry syrup (between 2-3 pumps, depending on the size of your drink)
