Have you ever been body-shamed before? Even though you might not be a celebrity, it seems to happen every day. Either you’re too fat, too skinny, too muscular, too this, or too that. Even though everyone has a body, it doesn’t mean that everyone has to voice their opinion about yours. Especially online.
In 2011, Curry married NBA star Steph Curry, and the couple currently has three children. In 2012, daughter Riley was born. 2015 brought along another daughter named Ryan. Breaking the R-naming trend was Canon, their first baby son, who was born just last year.
Now, in case you don’t know much about babies, here are a few things to know. One, a woman’s body changes drastically before and after giving birth — especially when three kids are involved. And two, there’s literally nothing more important to a mother than the health and safety of her children.
Ladies and gentleman, let me be the one to tell you that this isn’t the best thing to ask a woman unless she’s confirmed it herself.

But, Curry’s response was one of the best. It shows she’s so used to these types of remarks, even if they’re completely cringeworthy.

Canon will be celebrating his first birthday on July 2nd of this year. Since he’s a baby who’s barely one, he’s seen the pediatrician quite a lot. Babies need constant check-ups, just to make sure they’re progressing well.

According to CNN, the comment aggressively stated, “If that kid is 30lbs he’s got some serious health issues going on.”

Plenty of people applauded the fact that Curry stood up for her son. This kid is already getting fat-shamed and he hasn’t even celebrated a birthday yet.

There’s a general guideline for where babies should be, both height and weight-wise. But honestly, all babies are different. And I have a feeling the person who made that comment isn’t a licensed pediatrician. Just a hunch.
The comments about Canon’s weight even leaked over into another photo. So, Curry may be spammed with unnecessary comments like this for a few days.

It’s pretty obvious that all three kids are healthy and happy. So next time you want to try to take a celebrity down by fat-shaming their kid, think again. Ayesha Curry knows Canon better than anyone, and if something was wrong with his health, she’d make sure he was okay.
