Beyonce And Jay-Z Are Having An Oscars Party, And What They’re Serving Will Make You Gasp

On Sunday, Feb. 24, the 91st Academy Awards will be airing. The Oscars are considered the biggest and most prestigious award show of the whole year, and watching it is always entertaining — even if you haven’t seen every film that was nominated. This year’s Academy Awards will be no exception: big celebrities like Glenn Close, Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper, Regina King, and so many more will be in attendance. A lot of great films are up for the big awards, and, like always, the red carpet will probably be full of some interesting looks. It’s not just the actual award ceremony you’ll want to watch out for, either: there are also the after-parties. This year, Beyonce and Jay-Z are throwing an Oscars party that is sure to be seriously epic.

It’s not the first time the power couple has hosted their own Oscars after-party, and it likely won’t be the last. Not surprisingly, their events are always packed with stars and full of crazy moments. And, of course, they’ll also be serving some truly incredible food — would you expect anything less? What they’re serving is going to make you literally gasp, which isn’t shocking either.

According to Page Six, the two will be serving “caviar by the gallon.”

The outlet heard some of the details about the menu for the big night by Eleven Madison Park chef Daniel Humm. And why wouldn’t they have caviar by the gallon? It’s Bey and Jay!

Caviar isn’t the only thing on the menu, of course. There will also be plenty of truffle quesadillas.

And not everything is going to be super fancy. The menu also includes “late-night upscale chicken and waffles.” We aren’t sure what that means, but it sounds good.

And, of course, the source said that all of the meals will be paired with “magnums” of Jay’s Armand de Brignac Brut Gold Champagne. Because why not?

Apparently, the party is supposed to happen inside the Chateau Marmont’s parking garage, although details are pretty top secret.

While we don’t know who will be attending, last year’s party (dubbed the Gold Party, and the first one for the couple), had guests including Leonardo DiCaprio, Drake, Michael B. Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Mindy Kaling, Tracee Ellis Ross and Stevie Wonder.

Last year, an employee at Joe’s Pizza told Entertainment Tonight that he delivered 36 pizzas after midnight. Maybe they’ll go that route again?

As for the rest of the menu? They might opt for something vegan, as the two are big on that lifestyle.

Bey and Jay have been on a “mission” to get people to eat more plant-based foods, and to at least try a vegan diet a few days out of the week. They feel being vegan has a “profound impact on our health and the environment.” So, it would be a little surprising if they didn’t serve at least a few vegan dishes.
