Apparently, quite a few people are unaware that Jason Momoa is not actually Aquaman IRL. The former Game of Thrones star (who is a 39-year-old proud daddy of two) was perusing a beach in Venice, Italy, shirtless, when a nosy photographer decided to snap a shot of Momoa relaxing with his wife (Lisa Bonet) and their kids, including her daughter Zoë Kravitz.
Instead of giving the man some space, Us Weekly decided to post the photo on Instagram. Then the Instasphere went crazy – and users began body-shaming Momoa. What’s worse?
Brace yourselves, it only gets worse from here. As if commenters weren’t satisfied enough with their shameful behavior on Instagram, some took to Facebook and Twitter, too.
“Seems to me he doesn’t have the same buff bod he had in Aquaman,” added another.
You’d think so, right?
And yet, here we are.
“I can’t help but notice there is a plastic water bottle and a Ziplock food bag in one of these pics with him! Bags are so harmful for the turtles and can easily blow away!”
Don't mess with Jason Moma ... or the ocean... pic.twitter.com/U5qeRzvq4L

I mean, does she actually think he’s going to pollute the ocean? We’re sure he’s going to dispose of his Ziplock bags properly.
“All these people commenting about his tummy… give this man a break he is on vacation! He is enjoying himself let him live a little.”
People are actually criticizing Jason Momoa for having a “dad bod” in this pic.........

“I just love this man,” she wrote. “Not a gushy star lover, but from what I have seen and heard about him makes me like him more. I wish I had a poster to put in my room. PS. I am a 78 year Grandma!!!”
@PrideOfGypsiesJ Check out what this little Girl Scout did to sell her cookies. She put Jason Momoa’s picture on the box and is calling them Jason Momoas Sonoma’s!!! pic.twitter.com/Ich4HvGH72

Could we go back to that, please?
Body-shaming is just as much as a problem among men as with women. And for some reason, the public seems to think that celebrities are deemed “fair game” when it comes to criticisms — whether it’s of their physical appearance, clothing, mannerisms, etc.
Yes, even Aquaman.
