Britney Spears Lost It Over The Dinner Her Boyfriend Made For Her

Normally, a celebrity PDA is enough to make us lose our appetites: but we’ll make an exception for Britney Spears’ recent Instagram post about her boyfriend, Sam Asghari. The 37-year-old singer posted a video of the couple in a kitchen, showing Asghari, 25, standing at the stove. Spears tells us, “I can’t believe I wake up every morning to this man,” and winks to the camera, spinning it around so we can see Asghari, who produces a red rose he just happens to have on hand.

Spears continues, “Not only is my boyfriend really hot, he’s probably the best chef in the world, and he’s showing off right now. Check this out.” She pulls a highly relatable can-you-believe-this-guy face, and shows us the pan we’ve been hearing sizzling in the background, revealing Asghari is cooking what looks like a very delicious hunk of meat with vegetables. Spears captioned the video “Belly rules the mind!!!!” and her SO replied, “Chef Asghari.”

The caption is a throwback to an image Spears posted a day earlier, from recipe site Sophisticated Gourmet:

Spears and Asghari met on the set of the video for her song ‘Slumber Party’ in October 2016, and bonded over sushi.

After rumors about their relationship did the rounds, the pair made it Instagram Official on New Year’s Day 2017:

Just after their one year anniversary, Spears posted a photo of the two of them in front of a waterfall, saying, “everyday [sic] he inspires me to be a better person and that makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world!!”

It’s especially heartwarming to see Spears so happy after a difficult year.

In November 2018, her father Jamie Spears was treated for a life-endangering ruptured colon. The following January, Britney announced on Twitter that she was indefinitely postponing her upcoming Las Vegas show Domination and other work to focus on her father.

A few months later, in April 2019, People reported that Britney had checked herself into “all-encompassing wellness treatment.” On Instagram, Spears posted an upbeat quote with the caption, “We all need to take time for a little ‘me time'” and a smiley face emoji.

Asghari has been by her side the whole time, and it looks like they’re having a fun summer.

They even found time to hit the red carpet, for the premiere of Quentin Tarantino’s movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Just like any loved-up half of a couple noting significant ‘firsts’, Spears pointed out that it was their first premiere together. And her little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, approved, commenting with four star emojis.

And Jamie Lynn isn’t the only one stanning this couple. After so much drama, fans are delighted to see Britney looking so happy.

But others are distracted by Iranian-born Asghari, who was a linebacker in his freshman year of college before becoming a personal trainer.
