People Can’t Get Over This Insect On A Kardashian Birthday Cake

Birthdays are supposed to exciting, fun celebrations filled with family and friends, lots of yummy food, and some delicious cake. Obviously there are things that cake goes well with — ice cream, milk, coffee. But at Dream Kardashian’s 2nd birthday party, an unwanted visitor was spotted crawling around her cake.

Bugs in general are gross, but around a birthday cake? Such a travesty.

The daughter of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna celebrated being two with a woodland fairy-themed party. Full forest trees and bushes, butterfly decorations, and actual fairies completed the look. Her aunt, Kylie Jenner, hosted the party and was the one to post the video of the cake (bug included) on her Instagram. In the video of the spread with all of the treats, people pointed out a bug crawling around the cake, but it flashes by pretty quickly in the footage.

TMZ labeled the bug as a “cockroach,” which definitely makes this whole thing a little more terrifying. Considering the amount of foliage and leaves around the food, it makes sense that the little bug might have just hitched a ride.

Still, no one wants a cockroach, or any other frightening bug, at their birthday party — especially near the cake. However, it seemed to go well, considering none of the Kardashian/Jenners mentioned anything about the cockroach on social media. It’s unclear if anyone was aware of the bug at the party, but the birthday girl looked unbothered in most of her photos from that day.

Let’s just hope that bug made its way home, far, far away from any desserts.
