Kendall Jenner Does Date Night At Cheesecake Factory Just Like The Rest Of Us

Celebrities — they’re just like us. Well, kind of. Surely the Jenners and Kardashians don’t have to worry too much about footing a restaurant bill. Still, that doesn’t mean they always go gourmet. One example is Kendall Jenner, who surprisingly goes to a chain restaurant you’re probably familiar with.

Jenner has been seen around town with Ben Simmons.

In case you’re unaware, Simmons is a 22-year-old professional basketball player. Fans of the Philadelphia 76ers are quite familiar with the young athlete. The one big problem? Well, Jenner — a model and reality TV star — is primarily located on the West Coast.

But since it’s not the first or last time a Kardashian family member has dated an athlete, Jenner is making it work.

Just the other day, she was spotted in New Jersey. The pair went to the Cherry Hill Mall. Not only did they look at vacuum cleaners (how practical, right?), but they reportedly stopped in at Grand Lux Cafe for a bite to eat.

If not, you’ll quickly add it to your “must visit” list. The chain has a couple of locations throughout the United States, with more to be announced in the future.

But if you can’t wait, just know it’s created by the same masterminds who created The Cheesecake Factory.

According to the official Instagram account for the Grand Lux Cafe, they serve “internationally inspired cuisine is served in an elegant but relaxed setting.” It’s safe to say that regardless, it was a surprise to have Jenner stop by.

They seem to have a pretty impressive display of desserts.

It’s unclear as to what Jenner and her boyfriend may have ordered, but hopefully, it was the warm brownie sundae.

Aside from Jenner’s arrival, Grand Lux Cafe seems to be a pretty big deal. So much that people have made polls over what desserts to get.

Sure, the food looks great, but the inside of the restaurant also looks pretty amazing.

Fans of The Cheesecake Factory already know that aesthetic is pretty important to the brand.

And aside from the desserts, their other menu items also look delicious.

This seafood salad is like a work of art.

In the mood for a burger? They have those, too.

While this is a place everyone should experience once, isn’t it a little odd that Jenner made sure to stop by?

The fact that she did so in the same day as vacuum shopping makes it seem like she’s just a typical East Coaster.

But, alas. There may have been a camera crew hanging out with her, as Jenner’s life is actually far from ordinary.

(Hopefully these two actually got some genuine alone time, since that’s so important when you’re dating.)

Even though sources reportedly say that Jenner isn’t about to run off and get engaged to Simmons, she does seem pretty enamored with him in this birthday video. So, maybe she’ll be on the East Coast pretty often.

No matter what, it’s good news for South Jersey.

Even though it’s very close to both Philadelphia and New York, they usually don’t get celebrities of this caliber visiting.

So, back to Grand Lux Cafe. Is there a chance it may get as popular as The Cheesecake Factory?

Honestly, it’s doubtful. The company has been around for longer than you may think.

They got their start in 1999 after the founders felt inspired by the European cuisine they ate during their travels.

But instead of revamping the Cheesecake Factory menu, they decided to open a sister restaurant in Las Vegas.

The concept was meant to be inviting.

They have an open kitchen, which makes the atmosphere a lot homier.

That also means that Jenner and Simmons likely didn’t mind being seen. It doesn’t sound like they required a private room for their meal.

Since the chain actually operates out of Calabasas, it’s pretty obvious that this wasn’t Jenner’s first time there.

Hopefully, the two enjoyed their meals. It must be hard to date as a celebrity, so it’s possible that Kendall Jenner absolutely loved her date in New Jersey.

When nobody’s expecting to see you there, you’ll likely get much fewer autograph requests during your meal.
