Kim Kardashian Announced That The Theme Of Her Latest Baby Shower Is CBD

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting their fourth child via surrogate later this year, and Kardashian is all about keeping this pregnancy zen. The reality star wants a super chill, CBD-themed baby shower during which she and her guests will be pampered with massages and spa-related activities. Hey Kim — we’re available to attend. We will clear our entire schedule. Just tell us the date.

“This year, because I am freaking out so much, I just want a zen-like, CBD-themed baby shower,” Kardashian told E! News at an event promoting her Carolina Lemke x Kim Kardashian West sunglasses collection. “I just want massages, I want to do like a tea ceremony with crystals and we’re going to have a drink at this baby shower — we’re not pregnant.”

As Kardashian put it, she wants her shower to be a “calm before the storm baby shower.”

Not only will her shower be a pampering sesh for her and her guests, but Kardashian also wants it to be a party for her three kids: North, Saint, and Chicago. She thinks having a celebration will help them understand that a new baby brother is arriving soon.

Kardashian said that her baby shower for Chicago was a great learning experience for North and Saint.

“When you have a surrogate, for me, I realized that having a baby shower for Chi was actually so much more beneficial for my kids, because they saw people come,” Kardashian told E! News. “They actually saw that it was like, ‘A new baby is coming.’ They got so excited for Chi to come that way, seeing that everyone was coming to celebrate the baby. So, I’m actually really doing it for them.”

Kardashian and West have been tossing a few names back and forth, but nothing has really stuck so far. The KKW Beauty creator told E! News that they were leaning toward Rob to honor both her brother and late father.

However, the name might be a bit too traditional in comparison to North, Saint, and Chicago.

But Rob is definitely not off the table completely. “You’ll see when we go to Bali there might be a deeper reason for why I would want that name,” Kardashian said, alluding to an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “This blind palm reader gave me some really crazy information when I was in Bali, so you will see that.”

Just like her choice of names for her kids, Kardashian’s CBD-themed baby shower is causing a lot of raised eyebrows. We, and others, are totally on board. Like… why not?

That’s definitely one silver lining about using a surrogate. Alcohol and ~other fun things~ are still on the table.

Some are just perplexed by the fact that Kardashian is throwing herself a baby shower for her fourth kid. Remember that she’s a Kardashian, people.
