Kim Kardashian’s Daughter Had A Food-Themed Birthday Party, And The Kids’ Costumes Are Insane

The Kardashian-Jenner crew have thrown some pretty over-the-top/bizarre birthday parties. Remember Travis Scott’s gas station-themed party? Do you recall when guests had to walk through an inflatable Stormi Webster’s mouth to enter her 1st birthday? Yeah. Bonkers. The latest birthday party to grace our social media feeds was that for cousins North West and Penelope Disick, daughters of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian. It was Candy Land-themed, and it looked like the game board had come to life.

Kim showed off the rainbow and sugar-inspired decor in a June 15th Instagram Story. “Candy Land is the theme of today, guys, for North’s party,” she told viewers. And yeah, we can definitely tell.

Just like the classic Candy Land game board, a trail of rainbow squares looped around the entire space, leading guests on a magical journey through a real-life fairy tale. Giant cellophane-wrapped candies bounced around the yard, oversized gummy bears greeted guests when they stepped on the trail, and signs pointed party goers to places like Lollipop Woods. It’s seriously a little kid’s dreamland — heck, it’s an adult’s dreamland, too.

How did we miss this invite? There must have been some sort of mixup at the post office, right?

There were enormous lollipops ushering guests into the house when they arrived, and balloons galore.

Then there was a huge candy centerpiece in the foyer. Remember those candy dots? Our faves.

Somewhere at the function, there was a sugar candy chandelier. We’d have that hanging above our dining room table, TBH.

North and Penelope had their names written in candies, cookies, and cupcakes on the main candy table. Adorbs.

There was candy on candy on ice cream on candy. Talk about a sugar rush.

Speaking of which… Hey, moms like candy, too, kids.

North and Penelope, the birthday girls, dressed to impress the crowd. They truly were the Queens of Candyland.

And their cake — it’s honestly hard to fathom how such a thing exists. It was a candy-filled birthday cake from Flour Shop.

Our heads are spinning. These Flour Shop cakes are sugar-coated miracles.

North, who turned six on June 15th, and Penelope, who will turn seven on July 8th, have had joint birthday parties for the past few years. It’s become a family tradition.

Last year, the girls had a unicorn-themed party. The year before that, they celebrated Moana-style.
