Pink Clapped Back At A Hater Who Criticized Her Photo Of Family Dinner

Back when I was a kid, my family worked on a schedule. Shortly after we all got home from school, my mom — a teacher —made a dinner suitable for all four of us. We didn’t get choices, and it was mostly chicken, but it was something we did together. Even though families spend a lot of time together, it’s very rare to have the full group do the same thing at the same time.

And when you’re a celebrity, it’s even harder.

Pink is out on tour, and the whole family is out with her, including her 7-year-old daughter Willow and 2-year-old son Jameson. Even though it’s a life that most of us fantasized about as a kid (what’s better than seeing the road and watching your mom kick butt on stage every night?), it’s also tricky.

But for Pink, being able to balance both her home life and career is too important.

So that’s why she decided to share a small tip on how she makes things work. Twice a week, the family — including husband Carey Hart — sits down to enjoy dinner together, much like my family did. Her action proves that even though things can be a little hectic, it’s so important to have time set aside for your family.

In the photo, everyone’s smiling around a bunch of taco ingredients. It looks like Pink loves DIY tacos just as much as the rest of the world does.

“At least twice a week on tour, we shut the door to the outside world and have family dinner,” she wrote.

“As you can see, it makes Jameson feel deep, deep joy.” The singer added the hashtags of #lastedsevenminutes, #gratitude, #space, #conversation, and finally, #loosescrews.

But, not everyone was positive about the photo. One of her followers insinuated that Pink wasn’t being all that sincere over the moment.

A user by the name of megablack921 wrote, “Except it’s posted on ig.”

That means the quiet moment that Pink was promoting wasn’t so quiet after all. Now, she’s let everyone else in.

Even though she didn’t have to take the time to clap back at a hater, the comment got to Pink.

And luckily, her response was captured on the popular CommentsByCelebs account.

As you can see, Pink said she wanted to share a healthy moment, and cursed him out.

And since her words aren’t all that kind, people definitely took note.

“Her response is that of any regular human being who posts a photo of their family and someone comes along with the audacity to be a d*ck about it,” one user wrote.

Others noted that it’s not unusual for Pink to stand up for herself on social media.

“People are just soft these days, someone was a wanker and she called him out,” another user commented.

“Too many people are rude these days because they think it’s ok sitting behind a screen but when someone confronts them they actually can’t handle it.”

Whatever happened to the social rule of “if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all”?

Megablack921 didn’t win too many friends after posting the comment, since most people realized that Pink is trying her hardest to manage both her normal family life and her level of celebrity.

Pink has always been wonderful with sharing tidbits about her family life online. So, this should come as no surprise.

Also, she made a big point.

In posting the family photo, she was trying to prove that family dinners together can be healthy. It’s a way to get everyone on the same page, after battling the craziness of every day.

And since Pink is often in a different city every night, things definitely get a little crazy.

Being a mom is hard work.

Because the singer currently has over five million followers, her tidbits and advice really do go a long way.

It’d be one thing if Pink invited a whole camera crew in to exploit her family dinner, but it seemed like she just had someone close shoot a family photo during taco night.

And, let’s be real here.

It’s not like she paused on family time to upload the photo to Instagram right then and there.

Honestly? As far as celebrities go, Pink seems like one of the most grounded moms out there.

She really knows how to be a huge presence in the lives of her kids, despite having an unconventional schedule.

So, fans can learn two lessons from all this. One, having a family dinner at least a couple times a week will be incredibly beneficial for your family.

And two, you don’t mess with Pink.

Seriously. She’ll rightfully put you in your place.
