Burger King Just Brought Back Our Favorite Type Of French Fries

We asked and Burger King listened. The fast food chain is officially bringing back their beloved Funnel Cake Fries, and we’re so ready to inhale all the powdered sugar.

Burger King first debuted their Funnel Cake Fries in 2009 — then called Funnel Cake Sticks. The chain told customers they could, “Get a taste of the circus anytime, all day long.” And they weren’t kidding. These little dough sticks were fried to perfection, dusted in a light coating of powdered sugar, and tasted just like the funnel cakes from our favorite childhood carnival.

Up until a few years ago, customers could get a pack of nine Funnel Cake Fries with a cup of icing dipping sauce for just $1.79. But then, they went missing from the menu and people were heartbroken.

Now, Funnel Cake Fries will be brought back for a limited time starting on January 24th at participating Burger King locations. The nine-fries-for-two-bucks deal is on the horizon and the future has never looked sweeter.

And if you’re worried that Burger King may have changed their Funnel Cake Fries recipe for the worse, we have good news. So far, the reviews of the new and improved Funnel Cake Fries have been pretty positive.

Because like we said, we asked. And asked. And asked some more.
