McDonald’s Just Released Their Most Insane Pie Yet

Now that Thanksgiving is over, McDonald’s is celebrating the 2018 holiday season in a big way — and yes, it involves pie. Participating locations will begin serving holiday pies at the popular fast food restaurant for a limited time, so you might want to run out and see if your local McDonald’s is one of the lucky ones.

This isn’t the first year for such a sweet promotion. Pie fans might remember the holiday pie from last year. But if you’re new, ChewBoom reports that the pie includes a creamy vanilla custard filling. It has a flaky crust that’s sweetened even further with a sugar glaze and rainbow sprinkle topping. Because, ’tis the season.

So, what does the pie look like? Honestly, in my eyes, it resembles a confetti cupcake Pop Tart. And that’s a very good thing. But while the two might share a few things in common (they both have good stuff inside), the pie is just a little more festive.

Of course, you don’t have to take my word for it. Plenty of McDonald’s fans have already uploaded photos of their holiday pies. And each and every one looks absolutely delicious.

For many, it’s already become a holiday tradition — so hopefully, McDonald’s doesn’t plan on getting rid of it anytime soon. Just look at it. It looks magical. It’s the pie that Mrs. Claus would make for Santa (or, pick up for Santa at the North Pole McDonald’s).

Like all wonderful holiday products, this pie won’t last long. So, you might want to make sure you get your fill before the end of the year.
