Are you planning a trip to Spain just to check out the exclusive McDonald’s Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger? Yeah, no. We totally aren’t either. We do have a flight to Spain booked, but we’re going to see… um… the other stuff Spain has besides the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger. But if, by chance, you were doing the former — cancel your reservations. McDonald’s is bringing the Grand McExtreme stateside, along with three other “World Favorites.”
According to Business Insider, McDonald’s plans to give their American customers a taste of their international selections. Come June, McDonald’s will add the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger from Spain, the Stroopwafel McFlurry from the Netherlands, the tomato-mozzarella chicken sandwich from Canada, and the cheesy bacon fries from Australia to American menus.
Even though we don’t have solid evidence that this is actually happening, we’re pretty confident that it is. In 2018, the fast food giant tested the Grand McExtreme and the Stroopwafel McFlurry in 50 locations in South Florida. They also tested the BBQ McShaker Fries from Malaysia, and McSpicy Chicken from Hong Kong, both of which are seemingly on the back burner for now.

The Grand McExtreme is a heavenly fresh beef Quarter Pounder patty topped with McBacon sauce, bacon, Gouda cheese, and slivered onions. The Stroopwafel McFlurry contains vanilla soft serve, caramel waffle cookies (stroopwafels), and caramel sauce.
The tomato-mozzarella chicken sandwich from Canada is pretty self-explanatory, and comes with onions, lettuce, tomato, mozzarella, and a tomato-herb sauce.
I will bet you anything that when you visit Mickey D’s the Dutch Stroopwafel McFlurry machine will be broken.

McDonald’s Australia also serves up a Big Brekkie Burger that looks utterly fantastic. It’s basically a beefed-up sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich complete with a hash brown, special sauce, and slice of ham.
McDonald’s Netherlands has sweet potato fries, btw. Bet you didn’t know that. Bet they’re freaking amazing.
They also serve up a crispy shrimp meal. McDonald’s Netherlands is doing the most.
And duh. McDonald’s Canada obviously has poutine.
We know, we know. Fast food poutine can’t be as great as the real deal, right? We honestly don’t know. Just look at how incredible this looks:
Keep an eye on your local McDonald’s menu come June. You might just see some foreign things pop into view — and you’re going to want to try them all.
