You Need To See How Costco’s Iconic Pizza Is Made — It’s Hypnotic

Costco is known for a lot of things — their discounts, their gigantic bulk products that’ll make you never question whether or not you’re out of toilet paper, all the samples, and last but not least, their food. Grabbing some grub at Costco is definitely part of the whole experience, and their food court is incredibly popular. Where else can you grab a delicious hot dog and a large drink for under two bucks?

Even though the hot dog is one of Costco’s most popular products, they’re also known for their pizza. According to Business Insider, the superstore also serves as the 14th largest pizza chain in America. Since each pizza reportedly contains a pound of cheese, it makes sense as to why they’re so popular.

While their pizzas are in high demand, customers don’t have to wait too long to get a fresh pie. And that’s because many Costcos have a sauce spinning machine that not only helps evenly distribute sauce onto each pizza, but saves time while prepping. It’s almost like having an extra set of hands to help out.

Surely the Costco staff appreciates the machinery, but for customers who’ve never gotten the chance to see it before, it’s… beautiful.

The sauce hits the pizza in such a way that you could watch it for hours.

Costco employees made sure to state that the spinner is located in different places in each location. So, not everyone gets to see the view.

Some Domino’s locations reportedly had a similar product. But theirs dealt with cheese.

Sure, robots can make a good pizza. But, it really needs that human touch to be amazing, which can be credited towards the (human) employees.

One customer went ahead and posted a similar video of the sauce spreader. Even from a different view, it still looks magical.

It makes the process of creating pizza all the more fun. Seriously, why doesn’t everyone have one of these?

The sauce spinner may be one of the reasons why fans can’t stop singing its praises on Twitter. Costco pizza has a following, for sure.

Employees probably eat it a lot. But it’s also a good lunch choice for others who live close to Costco.

People dig it so much that it could even be friendship-ending.

Hopefully these two worked out their differences. (And hey, that’s why the hot dog is on the menu — there’s something for everyone!)

If you’re interested in owning your own pizzeria someday, maybe you’ll want to invest in one of these. Making consistently good pizza will always make customers come back for more. And with a sauce spinner, you can’t get more consistent than that.

Seriously, just look at those pepperonis. If you’re unsure about what to do for lunch today, may I suggest Costco?

And if not for lunch, at least for dinner.

The one thing they could improve on is offering delivery. But then again, that might be incredibly dangerous, unless you also want to eat pizza three times a day.

Sorry, Pizza Hut and Domino’s — you’re special in your own way, but it might be a Costco take-out night tonight.
