There’s nothing tastier than matzo ball soup — and when it’s the soup of the day at your local diner, it’s a time for celebration. While it’s easy to make with a mix, Kylie Jenner made a batch from scratch the other day, and of course made sure to put the entire process on social media.
Technically, Kylie was making chicken noodle soup with the addition of matzo balls, using chicken bouillon, egg noodles, carrots, and celery. The second image in her Instagram story featured the matzo balls almost glistening, making her viewers quite hungry. But still, they had a lot of questions. For one — it’s kind of strange to make hot soup in the summertime, right?
Sure, there’s no such thing as soup season, but it makes a lot more sense to brew up a batch in the fall or winter. But that’s not the only puzzling thing about Kylies photos and Boomerangs — it looks like Kylie is also cooking the soup in a sports bra. More power to her, but typically it’s a little risky to expose skin while working with a hot stove.
The 20-year-old had some fun while making the soup. As the Snapchat story showed, she found a little inspiration by putting cooking shows on. But it’s the end of her story that’s the most puzzling.
Jenner pans over her body with a filter and the caption “MATZO BALL SOUP.”

Quite honestly, a cooking show starring Kylie Jenner could actually work. If she’s so confident making soup from scratch, it’ll be interesting to see what other recipes she has up her sleeve.
Anyone else suddenly in the mood for matzo ball soup?
