Costco Added The First New Dessert To Its Menu In Forever, And It Is Just WOW

Costco is known for three things: their amazing prices on big box items, their excellent benefits program for employees, and their surprisingly delicious food court items. You wouldn’t think that a store like Costco would have really great ready-made food to eat before or after doing your shopping, but thousands of people swear by the stuff. It’s probably a combination of the fact that the items actually taste good and they’re really cheap. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the store has decided to take a good thing and improve it.

Costco has just added their first new dessert to its menu in forever, and we’re kind of in awe.

If you aren’t already familiar with the food court menu, it’s pretty much a thing of beauty. The last time Costco added a dessert was actually July 2018, with the acai bowl, which is really more like a health smoothie than a dessert. Some of the best tasting items are ones you probably wouldn’t expect to get in a grocery store food court, but, hey, it works, and that’s all that matters. Some fan favorites include the pizza, the giant hot dog, the churro, the chicken bake, the Italian sausage sandwich, and the vanilla frozen yogurt, all of which have basically reached cult status with admirers. And now, Costco has combined two of these items to create one perfect option.

Costco’s newest dessert is… drumroll please… the Frozen Yogurt and Churro combo.

Look at it! It’s a thing of beauty!

The churro on its own is tasty enough.

It really didn’t need anything else!

And the vanilla frozen yogurt was also always a big hit.

Even for vanilla, it was a favorite.

So the two of them together?

It’s basically a match made in heaven.

And aside from the delicious taste, it’s also very affordable.

This dessert will only set you back only $2.35.

Some users have pointed out that this Frozen Yogurt and Churro combo has been around for a while.

But that’s mainly because customers have made it themselves. Now it’s an actual menu item.

A lot of Twitter users are basically signing up for Costco memberships just to get in on this dessert.

Or they’re at least setting shopping dates!

There also seems to be some debate on whether or not you can buy this item if you don’t have a Costco membership.

In most locations, you do need a membership card to get into a Costco to go to the food court.

A lot of the times, they won’t let you through without one.

But in locations with an outdoor food court (usually warmer areas), you can buy any item you want without a card.

So if you live in, say, Southern California, you’re probably all good.

Honestly, though, this new dessert might just be worth the membership.

At least it comes with other perks as well!
