This Costco-Inspired Birthday Cake Captures Just How Addicting The Giant Store Is

You thought you were Costco’s biggest fan? Yeah, we did, too. But sorry — think again. One woman celebrated her 30th birthday in wholesale style with a Costco-themed cake that has all the fixings. We’re talking hot dogs, churros, pies, and pizza. We honestly would have never guessed a cake decorated with Costco goodies could be so beautiful.

Samantha Waller of Samantha Cakes N Bakes in Woodland Hills, California is the mastermind behind this Costco-themed creation. She designed this two-tiered marvel for her friend Nikki Oliva, who apparently has a major thing for good deals on food, household goods, electronics, and more.

“For that Costco lover in your life,” Waller captioned the Instagram photo of her Costco cake. “Happy birthday to my Costco lovin’ friend @nix562!”

Waller did not miss a thing when it came to translating Nikki’s love of the Costco food court into a cake. Underneath the mini Costco Wholesale sign, Waller added four of the super-recognizable red concrete columns. A Costco receipt from a Thornton, Colorado location is daintily positioned below the sign.

Then, of course, Waller added bite-sized fountain drinks, pizza slices, and $2 hot dogs — a staple at Costco food courts nationwide. And the top tier is decked out with a Costco membership card.

Just look at that attention to detail. Our receipt would just have chocolate and hot dog charges on it.

We’d take a whole plateful of these mini churros. They’re so freaking adorable.

Waller’s mini pumpkin pies are almost too cute to eat. Almost.

And people are eating Waller’s cake up. Literally.

Brilliant is an understatement. This cake is remarkably, utterly genius.

True. Next time, chicken will be included.
