While this news is amazing, it’s not actually surprising. I mean, Oreo has been known to push the limits. Aside from their crazy flavor concoctions, like Cherry Coke and Kettlecorn, Oreo has also released a music box that uses a cookie as a record. So, why not jump into the world of beverages as well? Specifically, Oreo Drink Mix was spotted by the @CandyHunting Instagram account, and it sounds absolutely delicious.
Before you hit the road to your local grocery store, know it’s not available everywhere just yet. According to PopSugar, the mix is only available at Albertsons, Food Lion, Hy-Vee, Woodman’s Markets, Southeastern Grocers, and Albertsons. So, a fair amount of grocery stores, but not all. Rest assured — it’s also available on Amazon.
So, what’s it like? Well, it’s reportedly like most drink mixes, but with a little bit of Oreo crumble included. That means it’s more or less like leftover cookie milk, but with a flavor similar to chocolate milk. You could also use it in milkshakes or fun chocolately drinks of your own creation.
Hey, they say that chocolate milk is good to drink after a workout — think Oreo Drink Mix counts?
In all honesty, it’s about time the company created a product like this. Even though chocolate milk brands like Nesquik will always have a special place in the world, the chocolate taste of an Oreo cookie is like no other. Fingers crossed that the drink mix becomes available in stores nationwide.
