It’s always a tough choice to decide which donut flavors will make it into your boxed dozen. And now, Dunkin’ Donuts is making it even more complicated. They just released their new fall menu items, and there’s a donut on there that’s probably going to sell out fast.
That donut? The Apple Crisp Donut. Just the name of it makes it feel like Thanksgiving is tomorrow. (Sadly, it isn’t — unless you happen to be reading this on November 21st.) The donut has a sweet apple filling, a caramel topping, and oat sprinkles. It’s the perfect way to say goodbye to summer and the intense heatwaves the season brought on.
While the Apple Crisp Donut is surely going to be a must-try item, Dunkin’ Donuts has some other great things on their fall menu that are worth a second glance. In the bagel department, they’ll be introducing a Maple Cream Cheese Spread, which will beautifully accommodate any sort of bagel. And speaking of maple, Dunkin’ is also bringing forth a Maple Pecan-flavored coffee that’ll help you wash down your seasonally themed breakfast.
And don’t worry pumpkin lovers — MarketWatch states that pumpkin-flavored coffee will be back too. (Phew.) Pumpkin donuts and muffins are also scheduled to make a comeback.
The items will be in stores no later than August 27th. That means they’re the perfect way to celebrate the beginning of a new season right before everyone heads back to school.
If you’re a fan of all things apple-flavored (and who isn’t?), you have to give our apple pie pockets a try.
You will be craving them all autumn long.
