Welcome to candy season! Even though summer has its perks (like ice cream and popsicles), the rest of the year is dedicated to chocolate, candy, and sweets. Halloween, for one, is all about candy. And it’s also the best time to get your hands on some limited-edition versions that you won’t find in stores once late November and December roll around. For one? These Halloween M&Ms, which may very well be the best M&Ms that have ever M&M-ed.

Like with most holiday exclusives, these M&Ms are only available at Target. Hey — it’s not like you weren’t going to go this upcoming weekend anyway, right? Fans of the candy might actually remember these from Halloweens past. They’re the Halloween Cookies and Screeem flavor, which taste an awful lot like cookies and cream. Aside from the taste, the M&Ms themselves just look super cool. Yes, they look a little spooky for the holiday, but they’re also a great representation of the cookies and cream ice cream we all love so much.

So move over, plain M&Ms! The Halloween Cookies and Screeem flavor is the one that’ll be occupying our home candy dish. And our work candy dish. And uh, our work candy drawer. (Hey, we all have them.)

As per the package, they incorporate both dark and white chocolate. Last year, when they first debuted, Instagrammer JunkBanter stated that they’re a new version of a concept the company has played with a bit. “We’ve flirted with this concept before: Easter Sundae M&M’s were white & milk, and Double Chocolate M&M’s were milk & dark,” he said.

Still, JunkBanter gave them a second chance this year. On his website, he compared them to America’s favorite cookie, stating, “It wasn’t until moments after eating them, when I completely forgot was I was doing, that I had to ask myself: Did I just eat an Oreo?”  He added that the “aftertaste snuck up on me and fooled me into thinking I just consumed a cookie and not an M&M. It was a neat Halloween trick.”

You know what that means — these are a must-have for cookie fans. You can grab them at Target for $3 a bag.
