These 7 Restaurants are Here for You and Wide Open on Christmas Day

There are many reasons why people can end-up alone on Christmas Day. Studies have shown that 7 percent of the population spend Christmas alone. If you do find yourself in this circumstance, there are some restaurants that will be open to rescue your hunger needs.

Depending upon your profession, work assignments may not stop when the holidays roll around. Your parents and siblings may show frustration with your decision to work, instead of going to your family dinner. But, it’s your life and you do what you feel is necessary. Maybe not having employment is the reason; traveling expenses could be out of your budget and you can’t make it to your family. During winter months, traveling can be stressful and maybe your flight that’s been delayed all day, has just been canceled due to a snowstorm. These situations aren’t favorable, but they’re certain to happen to someone every year. Don’t sit in somber and hunger; you gotta eat. Here’s a list of restaurants open on Christmas Day and a guide to their best dishes.

Denny’s

The times may vary at every location, but Denny’s will be open.  The most popular dish here is The Grand Slam. It serves every breakfast need with a loaded plate of hashbrowns, eggs, bacon or sausage and pancakes. The entree Tilapia Ranchero is a current hit. It’s served with a side of mashed potatoes and the grilled tilapia is topped with pico de gallo and avocado.

PF Changs

This Asian restaurant will be open on Christmas Day. Every dish here lives up to its hype. The Chang’s Spicy Chicken is a tangy, sweet taste of heaven and the company’s signature and best seller.

Cracker Barrel

Most of their locations are open on Christmas Day, however, the times may be cut short. Which is fine, because their breakfast is bomb! It doesn’t really matter what main dish you choose, just make sure you order a side of their loaded hash browns, too.

Hooters

Maybe a traditional dinner isn’t what you’re in the mood for. A few beers and some wings may be what you need to get over this loneliness. Hooters has your back and will be open. The best wing flavor is debatable by many because they’re all fantastic. Don’t leave there without wings!

Red Robin

The Guacamole & Bacon burger will be waiting for you on Christmas Day. Enough said.

Applebee’s

Hours will vary at every location at Applebee’s. There’s a full bar, with a great cocktail menu here in case you need a drink. The Shrimp N’ Parmesan Sirloin is a must try, especially if you’re a fellow lover of cheese.

Boston Market

If you really don’t want the dining experience and just want a wholesome meal similar to a traditional Christmas dinner. Head over to Boston Market and grab some roasted chicken with however many sides you want. Their food is fulfilling and sure to place you in a coma shortly after you finish your meal.
