Lettuce and Kim Kardashian Have One Thing in Common

If you haven’t noticed yet, Kim Kardashian has pink hair …

And not it’s time to collect those likes on Instagram. Be the first of your friends with a platter of millennial pink lettuce on your feed. This lettuce is just too appealing to pass up.

When ordering, please do not ask for pink lettuce. Pretend like you’re actually ordering for the flavor and ask for Radicchio del Veneto. That is the correct name for it. This lettuce is originally from Italy but is also grown in California and Pennsylvania regions. This beautiful pink color is due to the farmers growing the plant in dark areas. Without light, the leaves are unable to darken. That leaves us with pink lettuce and the opportunity to take photos like this…

and this!

Yup, I’m obsessed already, are you? If you run into this millennial pink lettuce at a grocery store or restaurant, take a pic. I’ll be on Instagram stalking, waiting to see it.
