This Man Did Something At A Grocery Store That Will Make You Trust No One Ever Again

So, we’re not going to beat around the bush. This video is going to make you mad. Like, to be honest, we’re never going to eat from a buffet-style anything ever again. In a video originally posted to the r/WTF subreddit, a man was captured drinking from the giant ladles at a grocery store’s soup bar. According to the reddit user who posted via MUNCHIES, the man tried at least two soups before being caught by the store’s security guard.

Hey, we warned you that you would get angry.

Since being posted on the site on October 26th, the video has been upvoted more than 46,000 times. It was also reposted to several other subreddits and eventually made its way to Twitter. People are just downright shocked.

However, some who worked the grocery store hot bar beat aren’t surprised by the audacity of this man. One former hot bar employee commented on the post, “One time a guy dropped the serving spoon, so I said I would bring a new one quickly. Seriously into the kitchen and back in about 12 seconds, and the fucking guy was using his car keys to scrape food onto his plate. It was chana masala.”

All of the sudden, we’re so over hot bars.

Others said they’ve witnessed people using their hands to grab olives, suckling ketchup bottles at restaurants, feeding themselves with the tongs at salad bars, licking carving knives — wow, we’re going to need to stay inside for a while.

If there’s any saving grace to this horrifying stunt, it’s that this man was caught. However, now we’re stuck thinking about all the other hot bar perpetrators who flew under the radar. This is why we can’t have nice things, people.
