There’s just something so incredible about Peeps. No matter the shape or color, you typically know what to expect when you bite into one — a sugar-coated marshmallow. Peeps announced their 2018 holiday flavors, and plenty of them include a surprising dose of chocolate. One in particular is something that Peeps fans never knew they needed. They’re all somewhat a step away from what you’d expect from the brand, but deliciously festive in their own way.

PEEPS® Vanilla Crème-Flavored Marshmallow Chicks Pop
Phew. It’s a lot of Peeps, but good thing the price is right. The suggested retail price on all of these is under $2.50. That means you can try them all — or at the very least, fill a few stocking stuffers without breaking the bank. The Vanilla Crème-Flavored Marshmallow Chicks Pop would be especially good for a fun stocking surprise.
So, what’s the flavor that fans never knew they needed? That’d have to be the Gingerbread-Flavored Marshmallow Gingerbread Men, which come in singles or in packs of three.
Larger than a standard Peep, it’s the next best thing to an actual cookie. Or maybe even better, as gingerbread cookies don’t often contain marshmallows. But maybe they should.
The hard part for your stomach is that all of them sound pretty incredible. But if there’s one snack you should feel okay about devouring, it should be Peeps. They’re notoriously both gluten-free and fat-free, and totally versatile.
