If You Love Nacho Fries, Taco Bell Has Annoying News For You

Taco Bell keeps toying with our hearts. First, they introduce the Nacho Fries, then they take them away. Then they bring them back, but just for a limited time. It’s almost like they sense how crazy it makes us, not knowing whether or not the best side they’ve had in years will still be available when we pull up to the drive-thru.

That said, this news is bittersweet. Nacho Fries will be making a comeback yet again, but as expected, just for a short period of time. For the record, Taco Bell does this with the Naked Chicken Chalupa as well, and it’s a real travesty. (Not like there aren’t a ton of other delicious options to substitute those out with, but still).

FoodBeast reports that the Nacho Fries will be back in all forms. That means the Supreme and Bell Grande Loaded Nacho Frieswill also be back on the menu. If you have yet to try them, now is seriously the time. Nothing beats cold winter weather like a side of Nacho Fries.

Taco Bell fans lucky enough to live in a few select locations may even find an order of Nacho Fries for free with their order, starting on January 18th.

Here are the 14 lucky locations that might get the freebie:

🍟2222 Barranca Pkwy, Irvine, CA

🍟 303 West Imperial Highway, Brea, CA

🍟 4101 Campus Drive, Irvine, CA

🍟 2404 North Washington Avenue, Dallas, TX

🍟 4300 Highway 360, Fort Worth, TX

🍟 5772 Hollister St., Houston, TX

🍟 4248 Dale Blvd, Dale City, VA

🍟 1100 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD

🍟 1037 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA

🍟 500 8th Ave, New York, NY

🍟 840 8th Ave, New York, NY

🍟 224 7th Ave, New York, NY

🍟 4030 Belden Village St, NW, Canton OH

🍟 3350 W. Roosevelt Rd, Chicago, IL

If you happen to be selected, you might want to share with a friend. And that’s because the actual nationwide release of Nacho Fries will be on January 24th. So, maybe you can split the free order (if you happen to be chosen) and have a buddy pay you back later in the month.

Last time Nacho Fries were around, they were only a dollar, which is a deal we will happily take any day.

The loaded plates cost a bit more, but trust me — they’re worth every penny.

If you don’t believe me, just look at how people on Twitter are reacting to the news of their comeback. Let’s just say, the Nacho Fries have a ton of supporters who have been waiting for this announcement formonths.

But to be honest, it’s almost hard to enjoy the Nacho Fries this time around after knowing that Taco Bell is going to yank them from our hands once again. Maybe after this run, Taco Bell can seriously consider making them a permanent menu item, since it’s pretty obvious they’ve created a hit.
