These New M&M’s Are A Holiday Present Come Early

M&M’s just unleashed a brand new product, and it sounds absolutely perfect. Perhaps the brand was inspired by Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups filled with Reese’s Pieces since this is yet another glorious candy combo. Yes, it’s M&M’s — but in chocolate bar form.

They’re officially called M&M’s Chocolate Bars, and they’ll be coming at you in five delicious varieties: Peanut, Milk Chocolate, Almond, Crispy, and Crispy Mint. The press release states that they’re already starting to make their way to grocery stores, meaning they’ll be ideal stocking stuffers.

Trust me, the team was serious in making them. Supposedly nine flavors were originally tested, and only the five best made it through. I’m guessing Peanut Butter may have been tested, because it’s a pretty popular variety — at least in my household.

The new release will be celebrated everywhere, but specifically in New York, where an M&M’s pop-up will be out for the weekend, closing up shop on December 9th. For those of you lucky enough to be local, just an FYI: they have a Velcro wall.

The packaging for the M&M’s Chocolate Bars is equally as fun. A popular M&M character represents each flavor.

In case you’re trying to figure out how the M&M’s would properly fit in a chocolate bar, it looks like the Mars company used minis in order to get the texture right. Speaking of looks, it seems like the bar is separated once out of the wrapper. That means you can easily share it with friends. (But who are we kidding here?)
