Doritos’ New Bags Turn Into Something You Can Wear, And What??

This may just be the wildest Doritos flavor yet. Forget about your Supreme Cheddar, Poppin’ Jalapeño, Cool Ranch, and Nacho Cheese. The only kind of Doritos we want are Incognito Doritos. Doritos just launched this brand new “flavor,” which actually isn’t a flavor at all. The Incognito Doritos bag actually turns into a full-blown Spider-Man suit. This is some next-level, snack food spy ish, and we’re here for it.

Doritos launched their new secret weapon to celebrate the arrival of Spider-Man: Far From Home, which hits theaters July 2nd. The chip company went all out with this creation. They didn’t just stuff a Party City-like Spider-Man costume into a Doritos bag. Oh no — they did the very most.

“[The suit] is the official replica of the ‘Black & Red’ edition made by Spider-Man’s official suit maker Shafton Inc. that will make its debut in the upcoming film,” Doritos wrote in a statement per Food & Wine. This is the first time fans can get their hands on this never-released-before replica.

To do so, from now until June 30th, fans must tweet @Doritos to tell the company what superpower the chips give them using #IncognitoDoritos and #entry. Spidey suits will be given to those who submitted the best answers.

Or, if you’re willing to pay *a lot* more than what a regular bag of Doritos costs at the supermarket, you can bid on a limited-edition Incognito Doritos bag on eBay. The current bid is already at $595.00.

The entire sum of the winning bid will be donated to Capes4Heroes, an organization that makes and personalizes superhero capes for kids battling life-threatening illnesses, disabilities, or life struggles.

“Teaming up with Spider-Man, we knew we had to deliver something epic and iconic to fans around the world,” Leslie Vesper, senior director of marketing for Frito-Lay North America, explained via Food & Wine.

“So we thought in a humorous way we could help Peter Parker keep his identity secret,” Vesper continued. “We also know that there’s a strong overlap between our core Doritos consumers and Spider-Man fans, so we wanted to create something fun that truly brings both worlds together and for a good cause.”

Humorous is right. Imagine Peter Parker’s dismay when he finds out he could have simply won a Spider-Man suit from Doritos rather than making it himself.
