Starbucks And Disney Released 6 New “Been There” Mugs That People Are Scrambling To Get

There are plenty of companies out there that people go totally crazy over — so many that it can be hard to name them all. But there are two that are arguably more popular than most: Starbucks and Disney. Both companies have almost cult-like fans who will do anything for them, and pretty much spend any amount of money on them that they need to. Serious Starbucks lovers are so obsessed with the lattes, Frappuccinos, and coffee there that they will search out a Starbucks store instead of going to a closer, more convenient coffee shop. And Diehard Disney fans? They ove to hear about limited-edition items, especially when it comes to the Disney parks.

When these two partner together to come out with something, you know it’s going to be huge. They have partnered together before, and now they’re doing it again. The brands have come up with something pretty awesome, and you’re going to want to get your hands on it even if you’re not a diehard fan.

So what’s going on? Starbucks and Disney have released six new mugs. As you can imagine, fans are scrambling to snatch them all up.

According to Disney fan blog AllEars.net, there are six new mugs in the Been There mug series found at Starbucks as part of their Pin Drop Collection. If you’re familiar with Starbucks, you’re likely familiar with the Been There mugs. They basically highlight a big city, state, or landmark with cute, colorful images and words, and they’re very popular. The idea is to buy one at each place you visit to make a collection.

Starbucks has a specific Been There series for Disney. Their old mugs in that series looked like this:

In the last few years, though, Starbucks has slowly been changing the design of their Been There series to be more colorful and full of iconic images. So, they obviously changed the Disney ones, too. And they’re really, really cute.

AllEars.net reports that there are six new mugs: one for Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Disney California Adventure, and Disneyland. Each one is available only at the park it’s made for, which means you need to actually go to Disneyland and explore if you want to collect them all.

Here’s a look at the Disneyland mug:

The back of it says “Happiest place on Earth.” That’s pretty accurate!

The Hollywood Studios mug is just as cute. It features more purple and red, and has a picture of the Tower of Terror.

Then there’s the Magic Kingdom mug. Of course, Cinderella’s castle is on there.

The California Adventure mug is full of fun images. The back has the cutest ferris wheel!

The Animal Kingdom mug is green. There are so many adorable animals on it.

Finally, there’s the Epcot mug. It’s purple and yellow, and a bit more modern-looking.

According to WDW News Today, each mug is $19.99. And again, you can only buy them at each park. Pretty genius marketing!

Fans are loving them, though. There’s already lots of pictures on social media of the lucky fans who bought them.

You know people are definitely going to seek these out when they’re at the parks. They won’t always be super easy to find!
