There’s A New Doritos Flavor That Will Surely Send At Least One Person To The Hospital

If you’re having a party, you might as well bust out the family-sized packs of Doritos. But, you may want to stick to the original flavors. A brand new flavor just debuted, and it’s so intense that it might actually send someone to the hospital. And no, that’s not a joke.

The flavor in question is Flamin’ Hot Nacho, and while it sounds like an amazing choice for those who dig spice, it could be a little dangerous. In order to fully understand, you might want to revisit a memorable incident that happened in regards to Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, the ultimate of hot party snacks.

Back in September of 2018, rapper Lil Xan admitted that he had to go to the hospital after overeating his favorite snack. “I went to the hospital today. … I just want to let everyone know I was in the hospital not due to any drugs, but I guess I ate too many Hot Cheetos, and it ripped something in my stomach open,” he reportedly wrote on Instagram.

But, Lil Xan isn’t the only one. CBS News reported that there’ve been several school districts who have banned the snack for causing too many health problems among the student body. Reason being, they’re somewhat addictive and can also cause some worry based on the amount of red food dye used.

Let’s just say, the flamin’ hot red color might make people fear they have extreme gastrointestinal distress.

So, it’s a little strange that Doritos even want to leave a footprint in the Flamin’ Hot world.

But, Doritos fans have already noticed the new flavor in stores and have loaded their carts. It looks like the world is just filled with thrillseekers who aren’t afraid of the possible consequences.

This isn’t the first hot Dorito that the company has unveiled. At one point, fans in Mexico were able to enjoy a somewhat similar chip.

Which, oddly enough, was also a flavor that Cheetos released.

Based on early enthusiasm, it seems like there’s room for all sorts of Flamin’ Hot snacks in the world.

One Flamin’ Hot Fan even made a poll on Twitter, showing that the Doritos might be even better than the Cheetos. Don’t tell Lil Zan.

As with all snack food, you’ll want to remember — moderation is key. Feel free to enjoy these new Doritos. Just don’t indulge to a level where you’re really feeling it on the inside.
