This Bride Was Outraged After A Guest Brought Ten Tupperware Containers To Her Wedding

It’s hard to feel anything other than love on a wedding day. Although the weeks and even months leading up to the ceremony can be a little hectic, it all ends up being worth it. You’re surrounded by friends and family who might have traveled from all over to celebrate a new chapter for a happy couple. The drinks are usually flowing — especially if there’s an open bar — and there’s plenty of dancing. Not to mention the mass amounts of food and that gorgeous wedding cake. Seriously, what could go wrong? Well, a lot actually. At least enough to make people create an entire Facebook group to vent about all the rude or strange things that have gone down at weddings. The group, called “That’s It, I’m Wedding Shaming,” is the perfect outlet for brides, grooms, and guests to bond and unapologetically share their thoughts.

Recently, one bride from Pennsylvania posted in the group about how she had a bizarre encounter with a few wedding guests and a handful of Tupperware.

To paint a better picture of the situation, the bride shared a few details about her wedding.

“My husband and I had a very small wedding ceremony and reception, probably about 25 people were invited,” she wrote. “Only close family and a handful of friends.”

But a few days prior to her special day, a family friend asked if he could bring his daughter and son-in-law to the wedding, and she said she “didn’t have a problem with it.”

That is, until the last-minute guests arrived.

According to the bride, the family friend’s daughter filled 10 containers with wedding food she wanted to take home with her.

Talk about being prepared.

Her wedding haul included multiple containers of homemade cookies and bottles of beer.

The guest also helped herself to most of the centerpieces.

The bride claimed she didn’t notice, well, because it was her wedding day.

It was kind of a big deal.

She was only made aware of the situation the morning after the wedding, when her father mentioned it.

The bride also mentioned in the post that she didn’t believe the guest struggled financially, so she didn’t think she was in need of all that extra food.

To top it off, the guests gave the newlyweds an underwhelming wedding present.

“She gave us $5,” the bride wrote. “Not even kidding. A five dollar bill.”

Now, there’s no shame in taking home leftovers.

By all means, don’t waste food.

But TEN containers?

That’s just poor wedding etiquette.
