April Fools’ Day can be a polarizing holiday. Some people love the chance to joke around with others, play pranks on their co-workers, friends, and family members, and laugh about the ridiculous practical jokes that circulate all over the internet. Others can’t stand any part of it and just aren’t into pranks. But if you’re someone who is a fan of April Fools’ Day, then you probably look forward to the best jokes that happen each year. At the very least, they serve as inspiration for you to pull something similar.
It can be fun to read about some of the more hilarious pranks out there. These are the pranks that are all about harmless fun. No one is getting hurt, intense emotions aren’t involved, relationships aren’t being questioned, and loyalty isn’t coming into play. They’re not offensive or too controversial to be something you can laugh at. They’re just amusing, and they’re about playfully tricking someone you’re close with. That can be hilarious!
This year, there were plenty of funny April Fools’ Day jokes out there, but there was one in particular that really stood out to us…
The prank was done by Maureen Pritchard, a woman from Green Bay, WI. She decided to make her husband think she had just purchased probably thousands of dollars worth of items from Amazon, all delivered on one day. How? She simply saved up her old Amazon boxes, and on April 1st, put them out in front of the house as if they had just been dropped off.
On Facebook, Pritchard wrote, “I’ve been planning an April Fools joke to play on Rob for MONTHS!! I got him good! I wish I would have continued to record right away when he came in the house. When he saw me recording out the window I thought he realized that it was a joke, but when he came inside he kept asking, ‘What IS all that?!?'”
The prank even circulated around Twitter, where users loved it. Everyone was talking about how awesome it was.

Some people were saying they wish they thought of it first. Us, too, to be honest!
Man this was a good prank. I wish I thought of it. Amazon comes to the house on a daily basis. Hubby would’ve lost his mind🤣 https://t.co/tP1usgjb7E
