For just a few fleeting days in 2017, Starbucks blessed us with the Unicorn Frappuccino blended beverage. It was a glorious color-changing crème Frappe, topped with the finest of fairy dust. It blew up our Instagram feeds and our magic-loving hearts. Though we thought we’d never see our beloved Unicorn Frappuccino again once it disappeared on April 23rd, 2017, Walmart has swooped in to save the day.
Enter Walmart’s Frozen Bean Unicorn Frappe Mix ($9.82) — a DIY alternative to Starbucks’s most magical drink.
Each packet of Frozen Bean’s Unicorn Frappe Mix makes two servings. The mixture itself is caffeine-free and only requires water (or ice and milk) and a blender to morph into a fantastical beverage any unicorn would approve of.
And just like the existence of unicorns, the flavor of the the Frozen Bean Unicorn Frappe is still a ~mystery~. According to PopSugar, some tasted bubblegum whereas others picked up a banana flavor. We suppose the only way to find out what this blue beverage has to offer our tastebuds is to pick up a packet at Walmart and try it ourselves.
Keep in mind that the whipped cream and sprinkles topping isn’t included. To get the full fairy effect, you’ll have to invest in some edible glitter and perhaps some Reddi-wip (which everyone should own anyway, in our opinion).

It may be too soon to say if Walmart’s Frozen Bean mix is a suitable replacement for the OG Starbucks version. But until the Unicorn Frappe scores a permanent place on the Starbucks menu (our fingers are crossed), we’re thanking the blended beverage gods that they sent us a delightfully adorable stand-in.
