We hope the latter is the case for this hilarious answer about Costco’s rotisserie chicken.

Costco’s very famous rotisserie chicken is super good, which makes it so much easier to eat a whole one on your own (no judgement). So when a user on Quora, a site just for asking questions and getting answers, asked about the healthiness of Costco’s chicken, they got an answer about Costco’s rotisserie chicken nutrition they probably didn’t expect. What the user was expecting? We’re guessing they wanted to know how many calories in a Costco rotisserie chicken, or if it’s a good source or protein. Possibly even what ingredients Costco uses to make their chicken so dang good. But that’s not quite what the Quora user received.

Another user, Ian Beyer (who was supposedly raised on an organic farm, as stated on his answer), decided to take the question super literally. Instead of outright answering about the chicken’s nutritional value, Beyer focused on explaining that the chicken itself is not healthy anymore.

“Given that by the time it goes into the rotisserie, the chicken is far from healthy — it’s fully dead, and has had its feathers, head, and internal organs removed,” Beyer answered. “There is no hope for that chicken being anything other than a delicious dinner.”

He didn’t stop his reply there, but he did continue with the answer the user was actually seeking. He went into quick detail about how the chicken is pretty nutritious, and that paired with other Costco sides, would be very tasty.
