Celebrities are experts at separating their public lives from their private ones. They are trained by publicity and PR teams to keep their cool, but sometimes things don’t go according to plan. While the rich and famous rarely lose their composure, over the years we’ve been privy to some nasty celeb scandals and fights.
When it comes to matters of the heart, celebrities are human after all. Everyone from power couples and feuding stars to well-known dirtbags has, at some point, been embroiled in a fight. And sometimes these arguments take place in bars, restaurants, or right on the streets. And the paparazzi catches it all.
Whether it’s a squabble at dinner or an all-out war with an ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend, celebs have done it all. They’re more relatable than not. However, every fight doesn’t occur between familiar faces.
The price of fame includes a public life lived under the scrutiny of strangers. And celeb scandals are definitely pop culture fodder. Sometimes average citizens even put the paparazzi to shame. They insult, bully, and even throw drinks at celebs. Of course, that leads to even more ruckus.
We all know about that fight in the elevator between Jay-Z and Beyonce’s sister, Solange. It happened around the same time as the Met Gala in 2014.
The security footage took the world by storm. Moreover, just a year later, a dispute erupted between the couple in a Los Angeles, CA, sushi restaurant.
And Beyoncé seemed to blow her lid. The moment didn’t go unnoticed, either. According to reports, Queen Bey laid down the law.
She yelled at the Brooklyn rapper, motioning for him to put the cell phone down. Did he not know he was in the presence of greatness?

In 2008, Lindsay Lohan allegedly started dating Mark Ronson’s sister and DJ, Samantha. The couple made headlines.
The couple’s fights were in the headlines, too. In fact, Lohan and Ronson allegedly had their biggest fight in the wee hours of the morning. Unfortunately, though, the veil of night didn’t keep the scuffle from making the news.
Lohan and Samantha ended up in a screaming match. And the on-again-off-again couple ended the night with a bang. The DJ threw her former partner’s clothes into the street then kicked her out.
According to reports, Lindsay muttered, “Mind your own business” to onlookers when she left the property. Unsurprisingly, the couple didn’t get back together.
Miranda Lambert is no stranger to scandal. But the fiery country singer took things a little too far at a Nashville steakhouse in 2019.
After another couple at the restaurant got into a heated argument with Lambert’s friend, the star decided to take the situation into her own hands.
Then a man went up to the singer’s table and started yelling. In retaliation, Lambert stood up, walked over to the man’s wife, and dumped a salad on her.
TMZ released a blurry video of the incident. And even though police were called no charges were pressed.

Small miscommunications tend to cause more fights than long-standing feuds. That’s exactly what makes this altercation between George Clooney and icon, Fabio noteworthy.
However, the two superstars shocked diners at the Hollywood celebrity haunt, Madeo, in 2007. They were fighting over a photo opportunity gone wrong.
Unfortunately, though, Clooney was sitting closeby. The Ocean’s Eleven actor got annoyed and asked them to stop.
Fabio decided to be the bigger person and tried to apologize. The conversation got heated, though. “I thought you were a nice guy. Stop being a diva,” Fabio quipped at Clooney before waiters stopped the imminent scuffle.
Before Rihanna started dating Drake, she was involved in a very tumultuous relationship with Chris Brown. And that seemingly caused more than a little bad blood between the Toronto rapper and the singer.
They were in Manhattan. A bloody, bottle-throwing fiasco erupted when Drake’s 15-man entourage took on Brown. Apparently, though, the singer sent over a $2,000 bottle of champagne as a peace offering.
Someone punched Brown in the face and cracked him on the chin with a bottle. The singer’s bodyguard also took a hit. Blood gushed from the top of his head.
Somehow, Brown and Drake joined forces and put the fights behind them. As a duo, they released the Billboard chart-topping hit, “No Guidance” early in 2019.
We know the Osbournes take no prisoners. And they all seem more than willing to share their barbed opinions. None of them are more vocal than the matriarch, Sharon Osbourne.
The mother, wife, and TV personality settled an ongoing feud very publicly at a West Hollywood, CA, restaurant. The repercussions, however, were severe.
Unfortunately, they were too late to stop entertainment agent Renee Tab from punching Osbourne in the face. Doctors treated the woman for a dislocated jaw, chipped tooth, and a sprained neck.
The hostility began after Tab showed up uninvited to the Osbourne family’s New Year’s Eve party. After the agent won a $15,000 necklace in a raffle held at the party, Osbourne insisted the win was unlawful.

Bad boy, Justin Bieber cleaned up his act in recent years. But it wasn’t too long ago that he was in the news for his bad behavior. According to TMZ, in 2012, Orlando Bloom was in a restaurant packed with celebrities.
Then Bloom came face-to-face with Bieber. And things got heated after their respective partners became the topics of conversation.
In fact, cameras found Kerr and Beiber found looking very comfortable at the 2012 Victoria’s Secret afterparty. Unsurprisingly, rumors began to swirl.
People spotted the actor hanging out with Selena Gomez outside of a party. And they questioned what he was doing with Beiber’s former paramour. As for the fight, it quickly ended when the establishment allegedly kicked him out.
If you love Shia LeBeouf it could be because you’re a fan of Holes or the Transformers franchise. But you might also love the star’s weird antics.
Indeed, in 2014, LeBeouf found himself in a challenging situation. He got into an ugly fight with a guy at a London bar.
Apparently, witnesses heard the actor screaming defensively about his girlfriend’s mom. All genteel notions quickly ceased, though, when he headbutted the man. Accordingly, the bar staff kicked him out.
What are you saying about my girl’s mom? Are you f*cking kidding me, bro?”
It wasn’t the first time he was embroiled in a fight. At the very same bar two years prior, the star ended up in a similar situation.
There’s no doubt that the Kardashians have their fair share of haters. In an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian-West even came face-to-face with one in a boxing ring.
But the reality star still received an unapologetic whooping. But in 2010, when someone threw a drink at Kardashian-West at Juliet’s Supper Club in New York it wasn’t in a controlled environment. Things spiraled.
Apparently, he took too many pictures of the celeb. And his girlfriend retaliated. She took her anger out on the wrong person, though.
Luckily for KKW, Scott Disick was in the house. He quickly came to his sister-in-law’s defense but ended up getting kicked out of the bar.
There will never be another brat pack quite like the one helmed by hotel heiress and reality TV pioneer Paris Hilton. What’s made her so prolific isn’t just her slew of catchphrases.
Even her multiple perfume deals aren’t responsible. Instead, her inimitable attitude and penchant for messiness kept her relevant. Yes, Hilton was extremely messy back in 2006. And this fight between her and actress Shanna Moakler is proof.
She kissed Moakler’s estranged husband at Hyde Lounge in Los Angeles, CA. According to eyewitnesses, drinks were thrown after the fact. The women exchanged words. And someone allegedly pushed Moakler pushed down some stairs. Both stars filed police reports.
Before you lose your head, don’t worry. Icons Steve Buscemi and Vince Vaughn didn’t get into fights with each other. They actually worked together to fend off a drunken stranger in 2001.
The fight almost ended with Buscemi losing his life. Buscemi, Vaughn, and screenwriter Scott Rosenberg were filming Domestic Disturbance in Wilmington, NC. The scuffle, which took place in front of a bar at 2 a.m.. threatened to end the project.
The fight moved outside. Buscemi tried to break things up, but someone stabbed him above the eye and in the jaw, throat, and arm during the scuffle. Luckily, he felt fine. But local residents Timothy Fogerty and Kenneth Purgason were arrested.

Gossip Girl bad boy and English actor, Ed Westwick ended up getting into a brawl with fellow British actor Toby Hemingway at JC Chasez’s birthday party in 2009. Honestly, how do celebrities all know each other?
Held at an exclusive Hollywood bar, the N*SYNC star’s party took a turn. Toby allegedly began to choke Chuck Bass – Ed. He didn’t let go easily, either.
Just a year later, Westwick took aim at a diner in a New York restaurant. Apparently, the person annoyed him. What was the crime? The person took photos of their friends at a table that was near the actor’s spot. “Ed came over and was like, ‘Stop taking my picture!'” the diner said.

Some couples just shock us all. That’s the case when it comes to Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne’s two-year relationship. Things got even stranger when the couple tweeted out details of a bar fight at the Roosevelt Hotel.
“I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f*cked,” Lavigne wrote in a now-deleted tweet. “As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises, and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer.”
“Interesting Saturday night,” he tweeted. “Just got out of the hospital with a new scar on my face.” Brutal.

Jelena’s tumultuous relationship was closely followed by the paparazzi and we got every sordid detail, including their public fights. In 2012, the pair were spotted at a Japanese Restaurant in Encino fighting before they even got to their starters. According to TMZ, Selena left 10 minutes into the dinner with a sheepish Justin following closely behind her.

The British reality stars have always had turbulent relationships with plenty of fights. But these photos of Megan McKenna unleashing her fury on ex Pete Wicks are chilling.

Known for his quick wit and rude remarks, Simon Cowell seems to pride himself on being brutally honest. But he probably should have reeled that in while talking to his very pregnant wife.

But Silverman looked anything but relaxed. In fact, she appeared to be furious. While it could be boiled down to pregnancy hormones, the pair was also experiencing a scandal of their own at the time. Their relationship started as an affair. Silverman allegedly left her husband and Cowell’s friend, Andrew Silverman, to start the new relationship.
Everyone had their doubts when Scott Disick and Sofia Richie started dating. She is 15 years younger than him. And the youngest of Lionel Richie’s daughters also had a childhood friendship with Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
Their relationship has been all smooth-sailing. But during a trip to Australia, it all looked like it might fall apart.
Fights between couples are normal, but this looked rough. After Sofia broke down, the two exchanged words before making a dash for the exit.

In 2006, rock legend Axl Rose and Tommy Hilfiger were both in attendance at Manhattan, NY, club The Plumm. But things turned ugly. The fight apparently started after the Guns N’ Roses frontman moved Dee Oclepp’s drink.
Fights like these tend to erupt after minor miscommunications. But, unfortunately, no one could quell the situation before it got violent. Apparently, though, Rose was being altruistic.
I moved his girlfriend’s drink so it wouldn’t spill… It was the most surreal thing, I think, that’s ever happened to me in my life… He just kept smacking me.

It turns out that Kiefer Sutherland shares Shia Lebeouf’s love for headbutting. In 2009, the actor took on womenswear designer and Proenza Schouler co-founder, Jack McCollough.
Kiefer was talking to Brooke Shields when McCollough accidentally stumbled into the pair. Kiefer demanded that McCollough apologize to Brooke.
So Keiffer took matters into his own hands. He headbutted the fashion mogul right then and there. Kiefer, there are better ways to handle these kinds of situations.
The most likely person to not only get in a bar fight but also skip the hospital in favor of a few shots has to be Jackass star, Johnny Knoxville.
It was pretty funny. I was trying to hail a cab and three guys yelled something at me from a car… I yelled something back and they got out got in my face and said, “Come on, let’s go.”
“I noticed my wrist was slashed and my back was bleeding and wet. I was like, ‘Oh god. I’m just going to go and drink.’ I walked back to the bar and had a couple of shots,” Knoxville said.
