Have you seen Incredibles 2 yet? Let’s just say it was worth the wait. Also worth the wait is this new Incredibles-themed dessert from Disney. It may very well give you your own set of superpowers.
The dessert is called Jack-Jack’s Cookie Num Nums, after the littlest member of The Incredibles, Jack-Jack Parr. It’s a deep dish soft cookie that reportedly smells amazing. Now for the bad news: Right now, it’s only available at Disney California Adventure, on Pixar Pier. So you might have to hop on a plane to Disneyland in order to get it.
Incredibles 2 opened on June 15th and has already done better in the box office than the 2004 original. The film focuses on super-mom Helen’s solo adventure, while Bob — otherwise known as Mr. Incredible — stays home with the kids. Baby Jack-Jack’s powers are still emerging, adding to the fun.
Jack-Jack’s Cookie Num Nums costs $6, and even though it’s big enough for two people to share, Food & Wine suggests buying two. Since, let’s face it — you’re going to want another one, and you won’t want to wait in line again. The cart also sells two other desserts if chocolate chips aren’t your thing (or if you’ve got a sensitivity). You can also buy a shortbread cookie and an Incredicookie that labels itself as gluten-free.
As stated in the caption above, the dessert is “warm, gooey, and everything a chocolate chip cookie should be.” That’s a pretty solid endorsement.
It looks like Disney and Pixar have both a hit sequel and a hit dessert to boast about.
