Ellen DeGeneres Just Made Fun Of Cheesecake Factory For The Best Reason

If you’ve ever eaten at The Cheesecake Factory, then you’re already well aware that they have one of the most gigantic menus ever. In fact, the chain restaurant is known for how many options they have. If you’re going out to eat at Cheesecake Factory, you can get anything from a classic Cobb salad to Asian-cuisine-inspired Shanghai noodles to Italian spaghetti and meatballs… the list (almost) endless. This is one of the great things about Cheesecake Factory, if we’re being honest, but it’s also a bit jarring, and it’s definitely overwhelming, especially for people who aren’t expecting the wide plethora of dishes offered. We’re not the only ones who feel that way: Ellen DeGeneres just trolled Cheesecake Factory for their menus, and honestly, she hit the nail on the head.

On her talk show, The Ellen Show, DeGeneres discussed how she recently took her wife, Portia de Rossi out to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. DeGeneres, however, was not feeling the menu, which was 21 pages long with 250 items. So, of course, she did what only she can pull off: She brought the menu onto the show to talk about it in length, and it was honestly so hilarious that we can’t stop laughing about it.

DeGeneres began by showing a sample of a standard restaurant menu she was accustomed to seeing as she was growing up — probably one you used to see all the time as well. It was a standard menu that included the classics, like burgers, fries, and sandwiches. She then compared that one to the current Cheesecake Factory menu, and it’s definitely eye-opening. She says one line that pretty much sums up how DeGeneres feels about the menu: “This is true: They’re the only menus visible from space.”

She also points out that there are so many specialities listed that they’re just not specials anymore! She’s kind of right. Cheesecake Factory, what are you doing?!

We especially love her comment about the Skinny menu: “For people who are on strict, strict diets, who choose to eat at The Cheesecake Factory.” She just gets it!

While it’s definitely true that the Cheesecake Factory menu is beyond extra, we have to admit: We’ll probably always still love it. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make fun of it once in a while!
