No explanation needed, let’s just jump right into this!
Eating spaghetti and holding a valuable conversation is the recipe for unattractive. You will be slurping and losing noodles out of your mouth every five seconds. Not to mention the red sauce that will make it on your cheek. Skip spaghetti on the first date.
The date will not end well if you decide to eat corn on the cob. The first kernel that goes flying at your date might be excused. But, I’m certain the second and third kernel will not. I know it’s hard but stay away from corn on the cob.

These two finger foods are too messy for the first date. It takes skill to not get and sauce or chicken juice on your cheek after biting into these. Even if you are capable of achieving that. What are you going to do with your fingers afterward? Lick them, right? That’s not very attractive.
Any sea creature that has to be cracked to be eaten is not a good idea for a first date. Again, your date will not find pleasure in dodging pieces of food the whole evening.

A burger is not the worst decision if you prepare it right before the first bite. Cut the burger into halves or into four pieces first. Then get rid of any sliding objects (tomato, onions, pickles, etc). Take a bite and wipe your face immediately after.
This is mainly for ladies. Of course, you can cut the leaves down to bite-able pieces. But that will take time. If the pieces are not small, the size that your mouth has to open is going to be awkward. I suggest avoiding this.
The single life can get lonely. I hope this helps and you score a second date.
