Reese’s Only Follows *This* Person on Instagram and the Internet Is LOLing

Pardon me, there’s something hilarious currently happening on social media that I just can’t ignore. The discovery of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Instagram account with over 100,000 fans only following one person back has been brought to light. The lucky person is Big Little Lies starring actress who absolutely everyone loves, and apparently, Reese’s has no shame in showing it. Or, maybe the social media team over at Reese’s is just plain brilliant. Nonetheless, the only person this brand chooses to follow is…drumroll please: Reese Witherspoon.

This was pointed out recently by a peculiar observer and it was addressed on Twitter. The brand responded on the platform and tweeted, “She has a great name.” In other words, sorry not sorry about our love for Witherspoon. I can’t blame them; this woman is spectacular. Her bubbly personality, passion for female empowerment, and noteworthy talent have stolen many hearts. This exclusive follow on Instagram only adds to the brand’s history of public endearment (remember their “All Trees Are Beautiful” social quasi-campaign?). Reese Witherspoon hasn’t responded to this Instagram buzz yet, but I’m sure it’s on the way. She has expressed her love for this exceptional peanut butter and chocolate cup candy before, so I don’t think she’ll have an issue doing it again. Actually, their relationship is quite interesting and adorable. This could possibly be a BFF situation.

There is a genuine bond between these two, they even have inside jokes.
