“Toy Story 4” Ice Cream Is Here, So Let Your Inner Kid Rejoice

Pixar’s Toy Story 4 isn’t slated to hit theaters until June 21st, but we don’t have to wait that long to begin celebrating. Edy’s is doing us Toy Story fans a huge solid and introducing two new Toy Story 4-themed ice cream flavors. We feel like a kid on Christmas morning.

On February 13th, the Instagram account @CandyHunting posted a first look at the two new pints. “Two new Edy’s/Dreyer’s Toy Story 4 flavors are hitting shelves now!” the account captioned their pic. “Flavors include Cinnamon Churro Carnival Combo and Chocolate Peanut Butter Midway Mash-Up.”

Cinnamon Churro Carnival Combo and Chocolate Peanut Butter Midway Mash-Up? Holy cow — are we dreaming?

The Disney Food Blog also caught a glimpse of the Toy Story 4 ice cream at a Pennsylvania grocery store called Giant Eagle. It should be noted that the names of the flavors differ from those that @CandyHunting posted, but the gist of the flavors is the same.

The fourth installment of Toy Story seemingly takes place at a state fair-type setting, hence the names of the two themed ice creams. A couple of new characters that appeared in a short Toy Story 4 Super Bowl ad appear on the pint packaging as well.

We’re beginning to connect the dots here. And we definitely like what we see.

People are officially freaking out in the comments section of the @CandyHunting post. Like, obviously.

We want both so we can combine the flavors. Genius, no?

Edy’s has yet to add the new flavors to their site. But our eyes are peeled.

We know. It’s all too much to unpack right now.

Although we would very much like to unpack these flavors ASAP. We’re calling our grocery store right now…

The official teaser trailer for Toy Story 4 was released in November of 2018. It showed us that our beloved cast of characters is back and ready for the next leg of their misadventures.

And just this morning, February 15th, Good Morning America sat down with Annie Potts, who voices Little Bo Peep in the films. Potts brought with her an exclusive clip from the upcoming movie.

We’re SO excited. And has Bo Peep finally chosen between Buzz and Woody?

All of these little snippets have been sending the people of the internet overboard. June seems like a lightyear away.

The nostalgia is almost too much to handle. Almost…

And we’re stoked to be introduced to new characters that will shape more kids’ childhoods. (Even though they are eerily life-like.)

Duck and Bunny also have their own Twitter account, BTW. Truly 21st century toys.

Come on. Can’t we just see the whole movie right now?

We’re going to mow down on some Toy Story 4 ice cream while we wait for the film to hit theaters. And then we’ll mow down some more after we see it a third, fourth, and fifth time.
