• 2 sticks of butter
• 4 cups powdered sugar
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 4–6 tbsp heavy cream
• Decorative sprinkles

Equipment You Will Need:

• Push pop containers
• Piping bags
• Round piping tip
• Rimmed baking sheet
• Parchment paper
• Harry Potter rings
• Harry Potter cauldron mugs (optional)

Instructions:

1. Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to warm up. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper, then lightly spray it with baking spray to keep things from sticking.
2. Prepare the batter according to the directions on the cake mix package. Once ready, pour the mixture onto the lined baking sheet and spread it out evenly to reach all the edges.
3. Bake for 10 to 11 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden. Let the cake cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate it for at least one hour.
4. While the cake is cooling, beat the butter in a bowl until smooth. Slowly mix in half of the powdered sugar. Add the rest of the sugar, the heavy cream, and the vanilla, and keep mixing until smooth. Put the frosting into a piping bag with a round tip, but don’t fill it too much—just enough to hold easily.

7. After piping the final layer of frosting and adding sprinkles, gently place a Harry Potter ring on top of the cake, pressing it into the frosting slightly to secure it.
