Salt-Roasted Beef Sandwiches
1. Sear5-10 minutes
In a large cast iron skillet with oil on medium-high heat pan-sear unseasoned beef, on all sides.
2. Mix2 minutes
Mix together salt, peppercorns, and water for a wet sand texture.
3. Cover5-10 minutes
Remove beef from pan, and place the salt mixture on the bottom of the pan. Place beef on top and cover completely with the mixture.
4. Bake45 minutes
Bake in a covered grill about 375-400°F for 45 minutes.
5. Rest15 minutes
Allow meat to rest for 15 minutes, and slice thinly at an angle.
6. Assemble5 minutes
Use sliced meat and assemble sandwiches with buns, lettuce, swiss cheese, and horseradish sauce!
Ensure food is fully cooked and prepared with washed hands.
