  • 1. Slice
    5 mins

Take your bread dough (which can also literally be ANY dough, like extra pizza dough or 2 tubes of Pillsbury crescent dough, use whatever you have!). Flatten it to about ½ inch thickness and slice into 1-2 inch strips.

  • 2. Wrap
    2 mins

Turn a muffin tin upside down and spray it with Pam cooking spray. Use a small muffin tin for really fluffy, shallow breadstick bowls; use a larger cupped muffin tin for really big, deep, crisp breadstick bowls. Take your strip of dough and wrap it around the muffin tin, starting at the base and finishing at the top. If you don’t have enough dough, just add another strip and keep going. Pinch any seams. For extra fluffy breadstick bowls, let the bowls sit for a half hour or so for a second proofing.

  • 3. Everything Bagel Bowl
    5 mins

For the everything bagel ramekin, mix all of the seasonings together in a bowl. Brush on a light egg wash and sprinkle generously with the seasonings.

  • 4. Italian Breadstick Bowl
    5 mins

For the Italian breadstick bowl, combine the 2 tbsp melted unsalted butter with the 1 tbsp minced parsley and 1 tbsp garlic salt. Brush that onto the breadstick bowl.

  • 5. Pretzel Bowl
    5 mins

For the Pretzel Bowl, mix the 1 tbsp baking soda into the hot water. Brush that onto the breadstick bowl. This is a trick that gives the bowl a pretzel flavor and extra browning. HOWEVER: Make sure the baking soda is really, really dissolved, because, otherwise, the excess baking soda will create weird white clumps on the breadstick bowl.

  • 6. Bake
    25-30 mins

Once all of your breadstick bowls are ready, bake them at 375°F/191°C for 25-30 minutes, or until completely browned.

  • 7. Toppings
    10 mins

Let your bowls cool and then fill them up with whatever fixings you like; we recommend:

    • Italian Breadstick Bowl:
      1. Tomato soup with crema and basil
      2. Spaghetti and meatballs, with plenty of parmesan!
    • Pretzel Bowl:
      1. Any dips you like would work with this! We did spinach artichoke dip with melted cheese on top!
    • Everything Bagel Bowl:
      1. Cream cheese, smoked salmon, red onion, tomato, and dill!
      2. Mashed avocado, bacon, radishes, sliced avocado, and a fried egg
