This Vegetarian Chef Hid The Most Vile Ingredient In His Diners’ Food — They Will Never Be The Same

Even though Halloween is over, this story will spook you more than any scary movie or holiday television special. And part of the reason why is because it’s gruesome, and could happen to any one of us. The story comes out of Bangkok, at a vegetarian restaurant in the Lat Krabang district known for its noodle dishes. If you know anything about vegetarian diets, it’s this — when you’re a vegetarian, you don’t eat meat.

Unfortunately, patrons found meat in their dishes and enough reports came through that authorities went to the restaurant to do an investigation. What they found was more than what they bargained for. Blood stained the walls in the back, and pieces of human flesh were on the ground, according to Asia One. The victim was identified as Prasit Inpathom, a 61-year-old who frequently grabbed drinks at the establishment. Obviously, he had a run-in with the chef, who’s also reportedly the owner of the restaurant.

“After he did not return home we came to check for him at the food shop, but it was closed,” one of Inpathom’s relatives said to The Nation, reporting out of Thailand. Inpathom’s body was found in the septic tank, with multiple stab wounds. An autopsy reports he was also hit in the head with a blunt object prior to his death.

It’s so disturbing to think that a deadly altercation happened, and the poor patrons were actually served human flesh. The owner has reportedly gone missing since the discovery, and there are so many questions about what exactly happened.

Hopefully Inpathom’s family finds some peace during this difficult time. And just remember — if you’re eating something that looks or seems suspicious in any way, don’t be afraid to tell someone. While it’s likely not as grisly of a situation as this one, you deserve to be served safe food from trusted establishments.
