“Meat” Patty

  1. In a medium served microwave safe bowl add 1 ½ cups oatmeal and one cup of water. 
  2. Microwave bowl for 1 minute. Consistency should be thick and sticky. 
  3. Add cocoa powder, red food coloring and the rest of the oatmeal to the mixture.
  4. Using your hands, mix until well combined.
  5. Using your palms, make a patty shape. Spray the tops of each patty with cooking spray to add a realistic shine. 
  6. Enjoy your movie ready patties!

Watermelon Steak

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cut Watermelon into 1 ½ inch slices in the shape of a steak (about 4 inches wide)
  3. Mix all the spices together and rub evenly over each watermelon filet.
  4. Bake watermelon for 1 hour.
  5. Once an hour has passed pull the watermelon out of the oven and baste each filet with soy sauce.
  6. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Enjoy your savory and sweet watermelon steak!

Fake Butter

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together egg yolks and water. Set the bowl to the side.
  2. In a separate bowl, microwave wax until completely melted. 
  3. Next, pour melted wax into egg yolk mixture. Mix together using a spoon.
  4. Microwave mixture for about 20 seconds. Mix until a playdough consistency is achieved. At this point you can add white food coloring if you would like a lighter shade of yellow.
  5. Lastly, shape your fake butter into a stick!

Tapioca Oysters

  1. In a bowl, mix together the tapioca starch and the water. This will create a thick mud like consistency.
  2. Next, add some water to a pot and inside fit the pot with a melt rack. The water should not touch the rack. Bring the water to a boil.
  3. In heat safe ramekins, add about a tablespoon of the tapioca slurry. Set the ramekins onto the metal rack and close the pot with a lid.
  4. Let the Tapioca slurry steam for about 6-10 minutes or until completely solid.
  5. Carefully remove the ramekins from the pot to cool. Once cooled, pull the tapioca out of the ramekin and set it on a spoon to give the shape of an oyster.
  6. Using a small brush, paint your fake oyster with the balck and tan food coloring.
  7. Spray with a little bit of water and you have now made fake oysters!

Blackberry Caviar

  1. Carefully, pull off each seed of the blackberries and place in a plastic baggy.
  2. Add the balsamic and black food coloring into the bag and zip it closed.
  3. Shake the baggy to ensure the blackberry seeds are completely covered.
  4. Pour the fake caviar onto a cracker with cheese to create a realistic look!

Wax Bearnaise Sauce

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a microwave safe bowl, mix together all your ingredients. Microwave for 45 seconds in 2 intervals or until wax beads are completely melted.
  2. Using a spoon mix together and add a little more water if needed. Consistency should be thin enough to pour.
  3. Your fake sauce is now ready to pour!
