We all waited long enough for this. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, finally gave birth on May 6, 2019. Baby Sussex is seventh in line to the throne, and the crown has finally released his royal baby picture. After a long labor, Markle and Harry welcomed the newest member of their family at 5:26 am. The prince, who’s sixth in line to the crown himself, didn’t tell the press about the birth for nine hours, though.
And don’t worry, the babe came out healthy. Harry shared:
Mother and baby are doing incredibly well… It’s been the most amazing experience that I could ever possibly imagine… How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension, but we’re both absolutely thrilled.
After learning the baby’s royal name, we’re not surprised the royal baby picture is so cute. This little fellow, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, weighs just over seven pounds, and he stands to really shake things up for Queen Elizabeth II’s regal family. In fact, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, is the first multiracial baby in the British’s monarchy’s recent history.
Who can deny that this guy follows in his mother’s history-making footsteps? No one is exactly sure which titles, if any, the royal family will bestow on Baby Sussex. However, everyone on Twitter is glad he’s finally among us.
Keep reading to see his first pictures.
I'm going for #Edward as the name for #BabySussex. It can be shortened to #Teddy which is quite trendy and also more American. Plus Diana's father was called Edward. So after Harry's maternal grandfather with a modern twist - Edward known as Teddy. #babynames #RoyalBabyName pic.twitter.com/Jkn7YXa7Eb

Some people didn’t really see why the name was a big deal at all.
We can just keep calling the royal baby " baby Sussex"

This fan certainly has it right; he’s a looker!
It’s not even surprising that he’s so cute; Archie certainly inherited his parents’ good looks. Is he really that much cuter than any other newborn with chubby cheeks, though? We can’t say for certain. But, well, he probably is.
The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news.

And Doria Ragland, Megan’s American mom, flew to England and stayed with the young family during the whole process.

Apparently, even royal moms and dads sacrifice a few hours of sleep.
They can finally retire to Frogmore Cottage with the third member of their small family. And truly, we wish them nothing but the best.
