Like most adults, coffee is extremely important to me. It’s practically impossible for me to function in the morning (and some afternoons) without a couple of cups. Unfortunately, I don’t have a Keurig or anything that promises low-maintenance coffee — and it just so happens that I prefer freshly brewed coffee, just like the kind my parents would make every morning when I was a kid.
Now that I’m older, I have to make and pay for my own coffee. It’s kind of a bummer, but you do what you have to do. I also think that traditional coffee pots and machines are hideous, and just would not match the aesthetic of my black and white checkered kitchen and quirky decor. It’s my own fault for being picky, but can you blame me for wanting my kitchen to look cute?
In my search for the perfect coffee maker for me and my kitchen, I actually found the most adorable solution to my problem. The Purr Over Coffee Brewer is seriously all I’ve ever wanted, because like coffee, cats are also extremely important to me.
This cat-shaped coffee maker allows me to make individual cups of coffee by pouring hot water over the top. The coffee is brewed directly into the attached mug below the cat, so I can have brewed coffee instantly, without having to use literal instant coffee (gross).
Not only can I get fresh coffee super quickly — the cat-shaped maker also looks purrfect (sorry, not sorry) with the rest of my kitchen. And I can start my morning off with coffee, admire my little coffee maker, and go on with the rest of my day feeling good.
